My Most Precious Birthday Gift (':

Today is my birthday. Usually on birthdays, we recieve gifts. I just want to say my most precious gifts are not material things. They don't come in shiny boxes with pretty ribbons on top (even though I like those too!) The most precious gifts that I recieve today, on my birthday, and every day throughout the year are my friends. My friends show me love and support and I could never be more greatful or thankful for the wonderful people in my life.

I am thankful for friends, both new and old.
I'm am thankful for friends who live right down the road and those who are miles away across the world.
I'm thankful for friends who I see everyday, or only several times a year, and even those that I've not met just yet.
I am thankful for the friends who make me laugh and for those that make me cry.
I am thankful for the friends that kick my rear in gear and those that lend a listening ear.
I'm thankful for friends whom I've known a lifetime and those that I've just met
I'm thankful for friends who know me so well and for friends with whom our friendship is just beginning to bloom.
I'm thankful for friends that allow me to be apart of their lives and share in making memories.
I'm thankful for friends that I also call my family members.
I'm thankful for friends who have seen me at my worst and love me regardless.
I'm thankful for friends who have seen me at my best and celebrate my victories with me.
I'm thankful for the love and kindess that I get to experience on so many different levels with everyone that I call a friend.

This is indeed the most precious gift that I have recieved. To be friends with you. Thank you for making this day and everyday special. Thank you for being a part of my life.
